If an event is cancelled and not rescheduled, buyers are eligible for a full refund, including any applicable fees. Refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 7-10 business days of the cancellation announcement. This complies with Section 2(1)(r) of the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, which prohibits unfair trade practices.
If an event is rescheduled, tickets will remain valid for the new date. Refunds are not guaranteed unless explicitly stated by the event organizer. This aligns with industry practices and Indian consumer protection laws.
If a ticket purchased through Deuce is found to be invalid or fraudulent, buyers are entitled to a full refund. Buyers must report such issues within 7-10 days prior of the event date, along with supporting evidence. This policy ensures compliance with Sections 10 and 11 of the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
Refunds for buyer-initiated cancellations are not guaranteed. In such cases, Deuce will act as a mediator between the buyer and the seller, working to facilitate communication and seek a fair resolution.
Sellers must ensure the authenticity and validity of tickets listed on Deuce. Failure to comply may result in penalties, including sale cancellations and refunds to buyers. Repeated violations could lead to account suspension.
Deuce is not liable for refunds in cases of force majeure (e.g., natural disasters, government actions). Refund eligibility will be determined based on the event organizer's policy and Indian contract law principles.
Any disputes regarding refunds or cancellations will be addressed through our customer support team. Users can contact us at team@thedeuce.in for resolution. Deuce reserves the right to make final decisions in compliance with Indian laws.
If an event is cancelled due to external factors such as public health concerns, weather, or governmental orders, refunds will be subject to the policies of the event organizer.
